today i was at school
realized that someone is in need
i was listening to a song
realized someone has never heard this stuff we call music
i grabbed some fruit to nibble on
realized some people are so desperate for food and we sometimes through food away just because of the taste
it was time for class prayer
realized that some people have never heard of our God
i felt really bad and had a crying feeling
realized some people out there live on the streets in trees on nothing but dirt
i realized that i take things for granted
we think we go through so much
when people are so hungry they dry out bark and boil it over a tiny fire that they’ve struggled to make
