Life Poems

In a Fit of Rage

0

In a fit of rage, unbecoming me
I almost lost it all
Nearly revealing untidy truths
Things, which when hidden, befit us all
Alone in my torture
Wanting to tell everyone
Braying into emptied mineshafts
Shouting across forgotten divides
Afraid to tell a soul
Bittered because I can’t get your attention
I trembled with the fitful, tireless energy of youth
I grew to know my surroundings more comfortably
And hated them all the more because of it
I needed to release my guilt more than I needed to take my next

breath
Of course, I told no one.

We are grains of sand resting along the shore.
Waiting to be washed away till their is no more.

Sad Truth

0

A child looks up at the sky
sees an aeroplane passing by
he wihes to be in that aeroplane
and pilot dreams to be a child again

And She Said She Talks To Angels

0

“Roll of thunder,hear me cry,
as I close my tear filled eyes,
watch me hang my head in sigh,
as the angels start to fly.”

Nights Reflect

0

Shadow puppets on the wall.
Dark carbon copies of what a furnished room bares.
Into a black covered mirror, my world reflects.
Showing me things, only the night has to offer.

I Am

0

I am human, layers of flesh
upon bone.
I am mortal, this breathing
temple is my home.

I am sole owner to this vessel,
and Captain of the ship.
I am commander in charge of
operations, and all of life’s trips.

I am not perfect in any capacity,
nor have I ever pledged I am.
It is said, to err is human, and
that’s what “I AM”.

Memories

0

Memories are treasured in hearts n souls
Of friends n people who possess eminent roles
In life; n of people who endeavor their very best
To convert the weary heart into a heart of zest
Their love, their care, their help n support
Every praise, every blame upsurges the rapport
These allies, these friends, although, miles apart
Till the farewell breath, reside in the heart…

Fixing Hearts

0

Heartbroken again,
Will this pain ever end.
One good one is all i ask,
One meant for us to last.

To and beyond letting love go,
Through life watching children grow.
As the days go we get old,
Also to the point we’re bold.

Children get grown up old,
We tell stories like they’re gold.
Our children pass them on,
To their children and beyond.

What Life Made Me

0

They underestimate the look in my eyes
and shower me with hate, muffle my cries

than the scientists study my pride
asking each other, ‘how come?’ , ‘why?’

I wasn’t born like this, this is what life made me
An animal. Immortal. too savage for that baby

And when I’m on my knees crying they say she’s gone crazy
Alone and vulnerable, they handcuff and then take me
Now I’m locked up in the cell I made, no man can save me

Rope Of Lie

0

My days are so dark they make an alley seem bright
Is it past 12 when there ain’t no stars in the night
Man has flushed all beauty, and beauty in all
Now I stand on this cliff getting ready to fall
I’m afraid of heights but I still look down
No river, no water, and no life to be found
Still I used this rope they call “lie”
To get down safely ’cause I’m not gonna die
Not yet. Not now, not until I find truth
but this rope is running too long
And it seems as though it runs after you
