Baby Poems

Mama’s Baby

1

I love your stubby fingers
and your crooked little toes
I love your chubby cheeks
and your little button nose
I love your big blue eyes
and your pretty auburn hair
I love your rosy lips
and your dimpled derriere
I know that you’ll grow up
to be such a perfect lady
How does Mama know?
Because you’re such a perfect baby

It’s Here

Oh my God the baby’s arrived,
Of sleep you will soon be deprived.
Screaming and wailing, and the smell,
very soon you will not feel well.

If this is not what you want to hear,
in 18 years you will have a cheer.
When your baby leaves your work is done,
and you life can return to fun.
