Graduation

Graduation: letting go starting new
There are many things we have to do

Preparing for a life long journey ahead
Remembering the wonderful lives we led

Walking so proudly down the aisle
Making sure you have a smile

Having flashbacks of the past
Wishing those moments could only last

Trying not to shed a tear
Knowing that the end is hear

But for all of us it not the end
Just our futures we have to tend

Living To Learn

0

Living, laughing, and loving
Questioning, embracing, and learning
letting go and starting new
who am i? and what am i here to do?
as we are preparing for a life long journey ahead
were remembering the graceful lives weâ??ve so far led
For graduation is here, get ready for the next four years.
And for all of us itâ??s not the end
for our future has just begun.

Goodbye Dear Friend And Graduate

0

Goodbye, dear friend and graduate!
Our golden time is over now,
Our time of nothing more than time,
Days of simply being friends.
But I will always treasure how
Your love for me slipped into mine,
Embracing me where courage ends.
Graduation is a time
For feeling very proud,
For thinking lots of lovely thoughts
And saying them out loud…

Graduation

So the end is near
Its still so unclear
What will be coming next

Time to say goodbye
We’ll laugh and we’ll cry
But never forget eachother

were all sad to go
And we may never know
the what-ifs and could have beens

But were all here together
for one last time
cherish the moment
it wont last forever

Ordination

0

Wow! Can you imagine graduation day
just like that! Flames of the Spirit
piercing you, giving you power, authority
Tongues of flames giving tongues to speak
to the people around the world
such an ordination ceremony
was the Pentecost, when the disciples
became the apostles, the teachers,
when the meek gained their mettle
and preachers were born

Her Sister’s Dress

0

She wore her sister’s dress again
this time to her graduation
the same dress, her sister wore
to start her school year
two years ago
marking milestones
on the digital frame
sisters walking together
in staccato steps
each growing
in their own time
their own ways
growing so fast
before our eyes
