Nature Poems

The Mountain

0

The mountain sat upon the plain
In his eternal chair,
His observation omnifold,
His inquest everywhere.

The seasons prayed around his knees,
Like children round a sire:
Grandfather of the days is he,
Of dawn the ancestor.

Angels of Nature

0

Angels in the early morning
May be seen the dews among,
Stooping, plucking, smiling, flying:
Do the buds to them belong?

Angels when the sun is hottest
May be seen the sands among,
Stooping, plucking, sighing, flying;
Parched the flowers they bear along.

Nature by Emily Dickinson.

0

New feet within my garden go,
New fingers stir the sod;
A troubadour upon the elm
Betrays the solitude.

New children play upon the green,
New weary sleep below;
And still the pensive spring returns,
And still the punctual snow!

Trees

0

Trees came first on the earth,
Later their was human birth.

Every heart is human heart bit,
Due to this they are fit.

But today we kill them without any reason,
And tomorrow they will extinct every season.

Trees should be saved for us,
Plant Trees, save Trees for better tomorrow

Nature a Great Teacher

0

Nature a great teacher
A real knowledge preacher
Through it various features
It teaches us valuable values
With ease and pleasure.

Be selfless us taught to as by sun
Who gives us light and himself burn
With which the human race on earth could run
He works sincerely without expecting anything in return

Mountains teach us value of grat worth
Always remain down to earth
However higher you raise
Always your mother earth you praise
Let sky be your target
But you stand on earth never forget.
Tolerance from trees we gain
It stands firmly even in scorching heat and stormy rain
Grow lovely fruits and flowers even in pain.

Ocean teaches the great quality
Live life with humanity
Don’t be proud of richness and beauty
Spreads in the world the message love and unity
By giving everything to everyone without any partiality.

The Smokies

0

The sun rises a little slower here
It’s been coming over these mountains for thousands of years.
When time began their majestic blue peaks touched the sky
Through the many sunrises, and sunsets, they’re still there, tho not quite as high.
Many a bear and eagle, and illustrious trout have called these hills home
And once a proud nation of honorable Cherokees, until the white man forced them to roam.
The stories are endless as time itself can declare
You can feel the mysteries and legends as you listen to them speak through the clear mountain air.
From the foothills in Alabama along the eastern plain
They rise in majestic glory, from deep in the south to Katahdin in Maine.
Some call them smokies, and some the blue ridge range
These mountains, old as time, have fostered many names.
But it’s here, in these sacred appalachian’s where sky and earth are blessed
That God takes time from all his work, and upon these peaks, he rests….

Colors

0

The colors came back to the trees
Yellow, red and bright orange leaves,
The azure fall sky so deep so blue
Mornings bring a twinge of winters Que.
The nostrils leave trails of breath as we climb
The leather is crisp and the air is divine,
The free flowing streams cold and clear
Always taste better in the fall of the year,
Some ride in cars and some ride bikes,
Some camp in parks and others take hikes,
A day, maybe two spent hurrying around
They take there pictures, aww how nice, then head back to town,
And they miss the sounds of the eagle as she soars
The whisper of the wind the creaks of old barn boards,
The waterfalls hidden deep in places not easily found
Where the sky bends down and heaven touches the ground,
In saddle, on trusted friend I ride to be close to all I see
As did the Indians here so long ago when they roamed the mountains free,
But as the leaves give way to death
And winters sting removes the breath,
On reservations now they remain
And a way of life is all but shame,
They trusted those, who now return each fall to see the leaves
But the mountains know, yes the mountains know it won’t be long before the colors come back to the trees…

Tulips

0

Tulips smear a blush of spring
Two lips share a flash of love
Senses turn on a tune of rap
trapping a couple of chirpy birds.
Tongue-tied lips close forever.
caging on hold of monotony.

The Race

0

The sun has gone away.
The moon takes her place.
Leaving shadows to play.
It’s a never-ending race.

Our Delight

0

 Rain, fall!
Water, flow!
Bring new life
That the plant may grow.
Soften the earth
That the root grow deep;
Moisten the air
That stem and leaf
Unfurl and unfold
In the shimmering light
And bring forth the flower
For our delight
