GoodBye Poems

Ripped Apart

0

The dark night had crept over the sky
and had taken it over with billions of twinkling stars
as the moon crawled up the sky.
The air was a crisp cool feeling that would attack your arm
as it hung out the window.
Laughter and music
had filled the car up with no worries to even think about anymore.
Then the storm hit out of nowhere….As I ran down the empty, cold street
the air stabbed my face that already was covered
with thousands of tears running down my face.
The cruel night air was filled with screams and cries as frightened,
hopeless friends were scared of losing each other forever.

In Memoriam

0

With you a part of me hath passed away;
For in the peopled forest of my mind
A tree made leafless by this wintry wind
Shall never don again its green array.
Chapel and fireside, country road and bay,
Have something of their friendliness resigned;
Another, if I would, I could not find,
And I am grown much older in a day.
But yet I treasure in my memory
Your gift of charity, and young hearts ease,
And the dear honour of your amity;
For these once mine, my life is rich with these.
And I scarce know which part may greater be,–
What I keep of you, or you rob from me.

Goodbye Forever

0

I know you don’t have long
Please say that I’m wrong
But now I’ll face reality
That you and me weren’t meant to be

Goodbye dear friend
I’m sorry this is the end
Goodbye dear friend
My heart will never mend

I will miss you
You will miss me too
You and me are a clever team
But I’m sorry
This has to be good bye forever

Goodbye S.S.

Go away girl, go away
and let me pack my dreams
Now where did I put those yesteryears
made up with broken seams
Where shall I sweep the pieces
my God they still look new
There’s a taxi waiting at the door
but there’s only room for you

The Drifter’s Melody

0

The time soon comes for parting,
And our time is at an end,
The rest of your life is starting,
And we have no time at all to spend.

You knew one day you’d have to go,
But thought you’d have more time.
We can’t reverse time’s one-way flow,
But at least you’ll have this rhyme.

You had your shining moments,
Upon this life’s darkened stage,
And in my book of wonderments,
You’ll never be just another page.

Like the exploding of a star,
You’ve changed me in and out,
Your light will travel with me far,
Past when all other lights go out.

Through The Years

You helped me laugh
you dried my tears
because of you I have no fears
Together we live
together we grow
teaching each other what we must know
You came in my life and I was blessed
I love you friend
you are the best
Release my hand and say good-bye
please my friend don’t you cry
I promise you this it’s not the end
’cause like I said you’re my friend

A Final Good-Bye

0

Do you see standing there,,
Do you realize that I’m alone.
I know you don’t see me there,,
As I’m loosing touch & losing tone.

I’m fading away so quickly,,
Yet no-one seems to care.
All I did was care for them,,
When they were alone and in despair.

I don’t get why they don’t see,,
Is it because I stand in the dark.
I don’t get why they don’t feel,,
Is it because I lack that spark.

I don’t care why they don’t see,,
They made their position clear.
I don’t care why they cant feel,,
For this is my last night here.

Big Band, Slow Dance

Were you close? Im asked, as if grief
Would sting less deeply were we friends
As well as son and father. Further apart
Two men could never meet, though blood bends

Through arteries, veins and capillaries
Summoned into Presence by his pleasure.
On that I could have grown more slowly -
Remember being held, and cradled like treasure.

Silence In My Heart

0

It’s like a dream come true when you said that you love me,
still holding you in my arms in my deepest memories
words you’ve told is like a never ending symphony
that lingers to my soul as it echoed like a sweet melody

I see your face vividly emblazoned in my dreams
as my tears fall ceaselessly like the endless streams
as the darkest takes you out of my sight
your face is fading away as you wave goodbye

Silence in my heart as you left me in vain
longing for you really driving me insane
but you choose to left me in a disarray
now i am lost, leaving my heart into astray

Goodbye Michael

0

A star has been plucked from the sky.
The sky is now dimmer.
It happened on June 25th.
A day, we will always remember.

Never again to see Michael’s smile light up the skies.
Never again to see him moonwalk across the stage as his fans cries.
Never again to hear him sing Billie Jean.
To the roaring sound of his fans’ screams.

A brother of the sun has been taken away.
But in our hearts his music will always stay.
Michael Jackson will now dance among the clouds.
And in the heavens, you will still hear him singing loud and proud.
