Friendship Poems

A new friend

0

There are so many children in our class
It is hard to choose a friend
we make friends by, playing
laughing and talking
when a new friend comes
we let our old friend go away
And when the old friend comes back
we let the new friend go away

Best Friend – After Fight

0

A fight is a fight
A friend is a friend
A fight took over us
I thought it was the end
Every night when I turned out the light
I felt more tears one by one they turned my life into fear
I steer into darkness, not knowing what to do
But then I thought and I knew that all I needed was you
I rang you up and apologized, water sprinkling down our eyes
Then we said through the phone
A fight is a fight
A friend is a friend
Never in our life will we fight again
For a friend is stronger then a fight
But what’s even stronger is what we are… best friends for life

A Friend – Always For You

0

a friend can stick by your side,
a friend is there through roller coaster rides,
a friend is like a sister, whom never goes away,
a friend is hyper with you, sad, and gay,
even if she isn’t ’stuck to your hip’,
she is still your friend,
never let go, hold on,
even when she is gone,
she is still there, you just can’t see her,
through thick and thin,
and ‘coaster rides again,
she is there, never let go,
NEVER LET GO…

A Friend

0

To a friend so dear
And to a friend who’s always here
There will be no gear
Can fear to a friend so dear

To a friend who care
And never felt fair
There would be an ear
Who can always hear

To a friend who dare
And always been scare
Drop your tears
And repair your years

What You Mean To Me My Friend

0

you are that kind of a jewel to me,
who is as precious as the,
diamond which sinked,
when the titanic sanked.

you are that kind of a star,
that always sparkles and,
looks different from others.
you are that star with whom,
i sometimes talk,
when i am sad.

you are that talking picture to me,
with whom i talk,
when i fell awkward to say,
something in front of you.

Dear Friend

0

You may not have stood beside me
or touched my hand each day
but I knew that you were with me
each step along the way.

Your prayers and thoughts and glances
meant more than you will know
’cause I keep them down deep in my heart
and feel the love aglow.

It’s there for me to rekindle
to light the path I take
It guides me,holds me, rocks me,
each morning I awake.

I knew that you’d be with me
each step along the way
’cause GOD gave you to me,with love
to keep my fears at bay.

Friends Is What We’ll Be

0

Friends are like angels sent from above
They came to give you an undying love.
Summer, winter, spring or fall,
They’re there to help you when you call.

I will be there for you,
When your days are lonely and blue.
You can call on me for a helping hand,
I’ll be there beside you to take that final stand.

I didn’t know where to start,
But this is a poem straight from the heart.
I’m here for you if you’re here for me,
That’s why friends is a thing we’ll always be.

A Wish For You

0

A dream is a wish your heart makes
and my heart makes a wish for you
That you may find a rainbow
where all your dreams will come true.

May there be sunlight ever streaming
into your heart each day,
May you find the hand of friendship
along each new highway.

And may loving arms enfold you
when you need someone to care.
And may your heart know that my heart
is with you everywhere….

A Priceless Gift

0

Friendship is a priceless gift
That can’t be bought or sold,
But its value is far greater
Than a mountain made of gold.

For gold is cold and lifeless,
It cannot see nor hear,
And in your times of trouble,
It is powerless to cheer.

It has no ears to listen,
No heart to understand.
It cannot bring you comfort
Or reach out a helping hand.

So when you ask God for a gift,
Be thankful that he sends,
Not diamonds, pearls, or riches,
But the love of a real, true friend.

Friends I Have

0

Thank you Lord, for all my friends
Each one is dear to me
For all the smiles and glowing hearts
I seem to always see.

They’re there in times of good and bad
Their love, they always share
They fill me with unending joy
And show me that they care.

I see them as the shining stars
God placed them there with care
I may not always see their smiles
But know they’re always there.
