The Day I Met You

0

When I met you I found out what true love was,
Still today it amazes me what it reaaly does,
I’ve always been in love with you even when we were apart,
From the moment I saw you I knew you’d always have my heart,
I knew with all that I am one day I’d be your wife,
And when that day came I had a meaning to my life,
Weve been through so much and it hasn’t even been a year,
Our love keeps growing stronger and stronger I think that’s pretty clear,
Thank you my husband for loving me and sticking by my side,
When I think of you, my husband, I am filled with so much pride.

Please LET ME GO…

0

You and I were once in love
So much in love for quite some time
And thought that love will never end
But then that’s the truth we can’t amend.

There’s a saying if you love someone, set them free
If it comes back, then it’s yours to keep
But if it wasn’t, then it never was…
So please don’t weep for I am not yours to keep.

When you held my hand and told me you love me
I cannot feel the love that runs through my veins
What I feel is different and that I can’t explain
All I can say is, “Please let me go”…

Brother

Those we love don’t go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear.

Breakup

0

Here lays my heart
All broken and torn
There are no feelings left in it
For me to mourn

Here lays my mind
Which has repressed
All the memories we have shared
That have left me a mess

Here lays my soul
Which you took away
Along with my faith and trust in you
That you broke in a day

Here lays my body
All mangled and left to die
I hope that I can get through this
And find another guy

Friends Is What We’ll Be

0

Friends are like angels sent from above
They came to give you an undying love.
Summer, winter, spring or fall,
They’re there to help you when you call.

I will be there for you,
When your days are lonely and blue.
You can call on me for a helping hand,
I’ll be there beside you to take that final stand.

I didn’t know where to start,
But this is a poem straight from the heart.
I’m here for you if you’re here for me,
That’s why friends is a thing we’ll always be.

A Wish For You

0

A dream is a wish your heart makes
and my heart makes a wish for you
That you may find a rainbow
where all your dreams will come true.

May there be sunlight ever streaming
into your heart each day,
May you find the hand of friendship
along each new highway.

And may loving arms enfold you
when you need someone to care.
And may your heart know that my heart
is with you everywhere….

Sonnets X

Death be not proud, though some have called thee
Mighty and dreadfull, for, thou art not soe,
For, those, whom thou think’st, thou dost overthrow,
Die not, poore death, nor yet canst thou kill mee.
From rest and sleepe, which but thy pictures bee,
Much pleasure, then from thee, much more must flow,
And soonest our best men with thee doe goe,
Rest of their bones, and soules deliverie.
Thou art slave to Fate, Chance, kings, and desperate men,
And dost with poyson, warre, and sicknesse dwell,
And poppie, or charmes can make us sleepe as well,
And better than thy stroake; why swell’st thou then?
One short sleepe past, wee wake eternally,
And death shall be no more; death, thou shalt die.

Its Just The Beggining Of An End

You smell of rain
and your skin is
sticky
for a moment
i thought
i was
glued on to you
forever
but
this coat of comfort
has been soaked
through
and tomorrow i will
leave you
by yourself
drowing in your own
puddles of
lies

As A Decrepit Father Takes Delight

0

As a decrepit father takes delight
To see his active child do deeds of youth,
So I, made lame by Fortune’s dearest spite,
Take all my comfort of thy worth and truth.
For whether beauty, birth, or wealth, or wit,
Or any of these all, or all, or more,
Entitled in thy parts, do crownèd sit,
I make my love engrafted to this store.
So then I am not lame, poor, nor despised,
Whilst that this shadow doth such substance give
That I in thy abundance am sufficed
And by a part of all thy glory live.
Look what is best, that best I wish in thee.
This wish I have; then ten times happy me!

sees an aeroplane passing by
he wihes to be in that aeroplane
